NEQTO.ai User Guide

The first step, after entering your NEQTO.ai account, is to add a data source. Configuring your data source on your device enables data transmission to NEQTO.ai. 

What is a Data Source? The data transmission method and destination for sending data collected by a device to NEQTO.ai. Examples: MQTT, HTTPS, and Websocket.

When the platform receives data, it analyzes the received data to determine which device sent it and what attributes are available, then automatically registers the device. The communication methods supported are the following three types, each with the characteristics shown in the table below.

• MQTT: Authentication type (Security token with TLS/Basic authentication)
• HTTPS: Authentication type (Basic authentication/None)
• WSS (WebSocket Secure): Authentication type (Basic authentication/None)
